Default 10 GT3 with RS front 19" fit 295/30/19 A6

Is it possible with my struts rotated to fit a 295/30/19 A6 on the front of my GT3 997.2 I have about -2.6 up front with a couple of small shims and struts rotated.

Thinking for autox using the stock RS fronts ?

David,

I don't think there is any way to get that big a tire on the front without doing some radical surgery which you already said you were leaning away from. I believe that tire is taller too. Definitely an issue.

Couple issues.
1. Tire is a bit too tall.
2. Wheel width. 295 should be run on atleast a 10J, ideally an 11J.

Being that the fenders are already cut underneath the arches, you could easily upgrade to 10 Cup front arches, which would easily accommodate an 11J and 295 tire.

Dude! Quit smoking weed, seriously !!!

Even with no front fenders, they will rub the fender liners, too tall. They need to be on 10" wheels minimum.

The 285/30R18 A6 is as wide as you can get in any 996/997 GT3 with minor modifications.

However, if you want to modify the car to make it fit, I can provide you a list of parts you're going to need, from new mounts for the side radiators, to offset delrin bushings to increase the wheelbase, custom shields for the coolant lines, before using your favorite sawzall tool on your front fenders.
