Looks great--I dig the matte look. Now how does this film perform in high-heat places such as the area immediately above the exhaust tips?

Like paint on white, you may notice a very slight different shade where the exhaust pipes are...same as how it would be slightly discolored even on paint

It is actually Satin, not matte. Matte has a dull and unfinished look. Here is one Satin Guard wrap on a GT silver GT2 RS
