Default Is a 7.2 worth 20K more than a 7.1 ?

My decision I know.

Just a topic I wanted your feedback on.

07 17K heavy optioned RED
10 6K light optioned CPO Blue

With the updates on the 10, suspension and engine and even better looks, does it look like 20K in value ? Is one better to live with drivability wise?

Street use and DE events possibly .

TIA

well having owned both; clearly the .2 is a significantly better car, the engine, suspension, aero etc make it easier to drive fast ... 20K is probably less than the delta in depreciation 7xk vs 100k ???

depends how much you value the options on the .1 vs the .2 ... if you can afford it I would go .2 ...

I would be at $78k on the 07, and 98K on the 10 to finance.

Depreciation curves and demand for an 07 vs a 10 would be good to know..

Cool

Forget depreciation curves. If you are a good enough of a driver to exploit the differences of a .2 over a .1 then get the .2. If not, save the money, forget the depreciation curves and buy the .1 GT3.

Better car + 3 years newer + CPO = clearly superior, easily $20K.

Probably not a better driver to exploit the advantages over a 7.1 LOL

Really like both cars to be honest...

Aqua Blue has CPO thru 8/15 and new rear tires and no RMS weeping.

Guards Red ,I have to buy a warranty, has RMS weeping, and black wheels that were changed from new.
Deprciation wise, in a year, I will owe $84K on the 10 and $69K on the 07. A difference of about $300 in payment .
Sorry to bore you guys with the details...I can't just stoke a check for these cars.

I just went through same decsion-making process and opted for the .2 car for reasons mentioned by others. Both are great cars so do what makes the most financial sense for you. If this stretches the budget and you plan to track then perhaps the .1 car would leave you a little more room for mods, track wear items, etc.
