Question GT3 RS 2011 (new suspension)

Hi,

Sorry my English is not good.
I am French and I live in Montreal!
I have at present one 997 GT3 RS on 2011.
I use this car only on track.
Know you somebody who replaced his suspensions of origin by better more successful to be faster on track?

I found origin Shock GT3 Cup on 2010 otherwise or JRZ RS sport Shock (used only weeks 2)...

Springs of how many Lbs in front and the back are needed?

Who has already made these modifications on his GT3 RS ????
What is the result final on the track with the new suspensions ???

I try to find owners who have already made this modification...
It is possible that the JRZ is of good suspension !

FULL cage RS.

Who built the cage?

Do you still use the car on the street?

Before you upgrade shocks, you will want to upgrade to adjustable sway bars, front and rear toe links, control arms, monoball ends, monoball bushings and thrust arm bushings.

www.tarett.com

corner balanced professionally with alignment.

If you still desire shocks, then both JRZ and Bilstein are good.

Shocks will help the car on track (if adjusted properly).
If you run slicks you will want track specific shocks.

try these guys as it appears they have it figured out for shocks:

I've seen pics of your car on the Internet before, it looks like it was done right.

I never use this car on the road, but only on track.
The car is already equipped with the kit of suspension RSS, the arms of suspension are almost settled(adjusted) in most hard.
I drive only with Slick.
The car is fast, but I am on that she can be even faster.
To M-Tremblant, I am only in 5 seconds the GT3 R on 2011 and in 2 seconds of the 997 GT3 Cup.

- Ohlins 2-way with 900# front and 1300# rear springs.

- Remove that rear wing and put a 2010 997 GT3 Cup wing, it will help you to get closer to the Cup cars.

- Put the GT3 Cup car front splitter and add the 4.0RS bumper aero winglets.

- Do you still have the AC compressor, ac radiators, condensor and evaporator? take them out.

- Find the GT3 Cup doors, the GT3 RS carbon fenders and the GT3 RS 4.0 or GT2 RS carbon hood.

These few mods should help you get closer to the Cup cars.

Your car is my new favorite GT3 RS 3.8

Thank you.

I am going to go there step by step:

- Replacement of the suspensions.
- Replacement of doors.
- Carbon fenders and the GT3 RS 4.0

I wait for my new lithium-ion battery 4 Lbs, the battery(drum kit) stock makes 40 Lbs !!!

On the 2éme RS, everything was to empty, more air conditioner, more lava freezes...
Soon replacement of the doors of origin by doors of Cup, replacement of by breeze and of all the windows by the lexan...

The best solution would be to put the engine and gear box (GT3 RS) in a GT3 Cup !
Perfomance, reliability and very low cost...
