I like it! Where did you mount the camera (GoPro)?

Vertical winglet

Engine is a grenade. Like a chainsaw.

Is the Trq like a nite/day difference between the 3.8 and 4.0? Sounds sweet!!! Mike

It is a bigger difference then you might think Mike given it is only .2 litres difference. Reluctant to say it is night/day though. I could easily run one gear higher in many spots on the track. I bet I no longer need to downshift for T11 at TH.

Can't imagine Porsche won't offer a 4.0 in 991. Super sweet and a no-brainer for any track rat.

Other than engine, any other notable differences from the 3.8 RS?

More softly sprung. Smoother clutch engagement. The solid suspension bits are noticible. Lots of incremental stuff.

How does the suspension feel stock for stock? It's great they made a last hurrah version of the gt1 motor. Let's hope the new engine will be a zinger. I'm kinda curious myself if/when 991 gt3 comes out and if pdk will be an option. Never driven a pdk- you'll like it? Mike

All I can compare to to is 2RS and what I remember of my 3RS before I in stalled the Intrax 4-way coilovers and solid bits. Can't remember how 3RS felt stock, too long ago

PS- let me add the 4.0 would not be best on Hoosiers unless you put some stiffer springs on it as well. Just too soft. Some enterprising aftermarket company should contact me TODAY to test a turn-key spring package for OE coilovers

PDK is awesome and would certainly provide faster lap times. But as we all know shifting is a lot more fun. Who doesn't enjoy striving for a full session of perfely executed heel/toe's?

It's nice to see that old track back in use and I believe NASA is going to run an event there next year. I saw lots of tar strips, how bumpy was the track?....

Any video yet of your 4.0 vs 3.8 (or SW 3.9) ?
