Thanks Peter, you won't have to twist my arm.
Yeah, the whole crew is coming down; our Viper friends with their toterhome and 3 car stacker, our 'vette brothers-in-arms and a couple of real Bimmers. We always look forward to Sebring. We love the track and any reason is a good reason to not be in Ohio in January.

While we were installing the Forgelines on the RS, I compared the Kumho V710s to the stock MPSC tires. The Kumho fronts are slightly wider than the MPSC's, but the rear 315 Kumhos are ~10 mm narrower than the 325 rear MPSC. Wider than a normal 315 but still not as wide as the factory MPSC fitment. I will try to provide feedback while we are at Sebring.
Ive heard these Khumo tires last longer than Hoosier R6. From guys I track with they tell me R6 last about 12-14 heat cycles but still has plenty of rubber on them.

Forgelines installed on car
Finally got some pictures of the wheels on the car. Looks kind of old school which is cool from my perspective. As long as the tires don't slip on the rims we'll be good to go.
See you all at Sebring. A Happy, Healthy New Year to all.
A couple of cool pics of the RS on the lift. Amazing how aerodynamic the under tray is when viewed from the leading edge (front).

damn, that looks great. i love it. Nice, I knew it was going to be amazing when I saw the wheels stting with the new tires. Amazing man. Love it.
are you happy with it?? Thats all that really matters, but I think many will agree they look great. Be sure to check and double check your CL just to be sure they are torqued correctly. Im sure my opinion isnt mean much but I Love it!

In a word, fantastic. Prodigious grip v the MPSCs and very predictable. Turn in was very good and they are pretty compliant which is good on a bumpy track like Sebring. They did move on the rims, particularly the driver's side (~2.5" front and rear). That may be a function of the relatively soft sidewall as well. The car did not seem to mind since I never felt any difference via the steering wheel or by any changes in traction or responsiveness. Once I got the pressures worked out (cold 27f 28r, hot 34f 37r) the car was exceptionally relaxed to drive. I was routinely lapping in the 2:27-28 range which, while not upto the potential of the car, is a good lap for me. With new brake pads and more seat time 2:25s are definitely there for the taking. The Kumhos are excellent tires worthy of the car.
