Default 997.2 GT3 in for GMG World Challenge track package- The red beast!!

Working a great project for one of our clients.

This 997.2 GT3 is getting the complete GMG World Challenge Track package.

This car will be a dedicated track car for our client who already happens to have a nice stable of GMG World Challenge equipped cars including a 997GT2, 997.2 GT3RS and a 997 GT2RS which is featured in European Car this month.

Stock suspension- will be upgraded with all GMG World Challenge components.

Ever wonder what it takes to build a World Challenge track package?

Here is a birds eye view of the components required:

More pics to follow as we build the car.....

Stay tuned..

I know this was a while ago but it needs to be remembered, I missed this thread and I really like what GMG is doing with the WC packages. BUMP. Cool pics in here and all the gmg threads. Very interesting. The shop is just remarkable.

Looks like a nice package and the quality of the parts look great. But why the thicker sways? I've never surpassed the stiffest setting on my stock bars.

The sway bars are part of the complete package and we have found from our years experience in World Challenge running on R Compounds the cars do benefit from thicker bars than stock. This is of course combined with our other suspension components and set up.

I dont know much about the subject so I thought ID ask, what is the differance between the gt2 rear bar and the GMG rear bar?

Would you say they are closly matched interms of stiffness or?

Our rear bar is considerably stiffer in its range of adjustment.

Are you going straight from the CAT and removing the side muffler's? from what you have laying out in your pic it's not clear how you are getting all the way out back..

Only asking because I am debating the side muffler delete... I spent all weekend putting stock exhaust back on for some work at the dealer.. AKA RMS under CPO... Hopefully. Read horror stories about denying coverage because exhaust... So stuck it back on.

Oh and putting the entire stock exhaust back on is a royal PITA but realized just how heavy those side mufflers are and want them gone.... How crazy loud is it with CAT's and straight pipe out the back? I already have your fantastic center pipe..
