Suggested options for a 2013 991 GT3 RS
Assuming that all the 2012 options are available on the new model when it comes out, what options would you suggest for this car? I intend on using it mostly on the track but also as an infrequent Sunday driver. Thanks in advance. Phil

I would love to see a GT3 come out in 2012 - but I don't think it happens until 2014. According to my research, with my local dealer talking with the Chicago midwest region headquarters, all 911 lines (except the GT3 and GT3 RS) are available until October of 2012. So the 991 line will continue with the C4, C4S, Targa, Targa 4, GTS, GTS 4, Turbo, Turbo S, along with all of the cabs - then the GT cars (GT3 and GT3 RS).
So with that line up, I don't think that Porsche will release all of those models in one year. I was informed that don't be surprised if the GT cars are 2015 models. Hope I am wrong - but thats what I found out with some multiple contacts.
If anyone else found out anything different, please let us know.

gt2r - I was at the dealer today but they were not sure on availability. I think they assume that it would be 2013 as I am. Phil

Not necessarily - Do what ever you want to do when you want to and repeat it as often as you want.

^I like your logic in life : ). I delete everything including ac/radio/ pasm electronics- just regular coilovers is fine with me, centerlock delete/panel and carpet. I would click on the option for 300-400 lb delete if they had it ie "bare metal option" : ) and PTS at no cost. Mike
