'11 GT3 RS engine noise
Hey, was wondering if anyone here has heard of any of these motors having a tensioner or a guide for the timing chain cause any issues. I have one of these in the shop and before I take it apart, was just wondering if this is something that has been discussed before.

Tensioners and guides are pretty reliable. I haven't heard of many failures and mine were in good shape after 42k miles when I tore my engine down.
Are you sure you're not hearing chatter due to the light weight flywheel?
