$76 for front caliper hardware kit - what a rip off!
Late last night I broke the 10mm bolt that holds spring clip and retaining pin while torquing it. I called my local dealer and they sell the kit for $76. I was shocked - Suncoast has it for $40-something. Still outrageous but more reasonable.
I am leaving tonight for track day tomorrow, so yes I will pay up but it hurts.

Anyone ever buy matching bolts from the hardware store?
Or stick with the Porsche "approved" crazy overpriced crap that easily breaks? This is - again - the little 10mm bolt that connects retaining pin and spring clip on front caliper (PCCB).

Yeah thats what i did. Next i need to stockpile a small inventory of replacement parts from suncoast to avoid the hefty local dealer prices.

Suck it up D. You have a big boys car.
Bolts from hardware stores don't have the tensile strength so you have no choice but to use Porsche parts. Use your PCA or POC discount.
I don't want your bolts breaking on your car and you taking me out on our next track day.
I just replaced my front rotors and tires and it was probably as bad as a rectal exam.
