I think that is how they go on CUP cars. They do not come with clips as far as I know.

orbit added them and added that CF piece but you do not need it, it will not fall off.

Sometimes they pop put if you scrap it a lot (In the middle and somehow that pops ou the sides.), I just walk by and kick it back in place.

I just took a look at mine (sitting in the garage) and I see what you mean ... since its a cup part I think it is intended to attach to the cup front wheel arch gurneys (as in trackcar's pictures) ...

only thing to do is (a) leave it as it is, or (b) drill a small hole thru the adjacent black plastic and zip tie it ... or perhaps (c) get some double sided tape and tape the splitter to the underside of the bumper

yes, helps to stop the CUP car lip from flapping about.

Orbit put them on, last time my car was in the shortened them so they stop right below the corner lights.
Before they went past the corner lights, not sure why but maybe it is easier to take off the front bumper to cclean out the ducts etc..

I wonder then if it makes sense to fit a cup splitter w/o those also? given that there is no support against wind pressure at either end of the cup splitter w/o them in place and screwed together?

yeah you can see them (just) in the Porsche cup car gallery on the website ... they appear to go to the point at which the bumper meets the body, because of course the cup does not have the side markers so I can see why orbit would cut them short or an RS

Zip ties through the holes that don't line up perfectly.

a bit off topic but why are these front lips so brittle? i break mine almost every time im at the track. from very mild offs to touching the candy canes... i have 10 in supply at all times just in case. this consumable is getting to be pricey. LOL anyone have any leads or a different front lip idea?

Agreed. I scrape more than 50% from my condo driveway each outing and no cracks. It does not protrude as much as the OEM one and it feels softer too.

I think since the stock splitter attaches via a screw underneath the bumper just in front of the wheel well, I would be inclined to drill the cup splitter in a similar fashion and secure it accordingly ... at least that way its attached by screws, you could add zip ties to the current holes also ...
