Add to that the death of the "Father of Loud", Jim Marshall. The guy who founded Marshall Amps, and literally created the sound that rock and roll fans heard from the mid-60s until today. If you've listened to rock and roll in the past 45 years, your ears have been blessed (assaulted) by his creations. If you've been to a rock concert, chances are you've seen his iconic Marshall stack on the stage.

The Marshall Stack
The Porsche 911

2 of the most iconic images of the 20th century.
