Default Ridge motorsport park ownership problem

Just got a email from ridge racing school that they are not booking events at the ridge d/t some track ownership dispute... Noticed the regular bullet racing team I go with also don't have any track days scheduled and they aren't answering my emails? Anyone have the scoop with what's up with the ridge Motorsport park?

If no track days for me, then I don't need to worry about my CL issue.

I don't know the details of the ownership dispute, but I do know that there are still multiple clubs holding events at The Ridge-- Turn 2 Lapping, PCA PNWR, BMWCCA for example (in fact there's a Turn 2 event going on today).

Hey Tim, lets plan on signing up for some Turn 2 days this year. (CL not a problem for my old car and your fancy newer car shouldn't be a problem for me since I'm usually in front...)

Tim
Or you could track your club coupe (so you won't need to worry about the CL) and I'll be WAY in front...

The two owners are suing each other and in the process some groups are being affected, some are not. While I really likes Ridge Racing School and Bullet events a lot and will miss them, there are other groups, like Turn 2 and HOD, that have plenty of events to choose from.

Hoping to trailer to the Ridge for June 7th Turn 2 Lapping this year. Looking for another track between Calgary and the Ridge around May 31st. Opinions please
September will be road trip to ORP with the Porsche Train guys (fantastic group and well run events) and then over to Miller.

I heard all the de days on the calendar starting march 1 are simply penciled in place holders pending some sort resolution or interim agreement

Seems to me that all parties involved would be well served by continuing to rent out the track during the legal battle

Seems though that will be in the hands of a judge

Money always complicates what should be simple. Rent the track escrow the funds, pay the bills.

I am really looking forward to the Porsche Train events at ORP, best track events anywhere.

Had a nice day at the Ridge today with turn 2. Good turnout. Two car run groups and even some bikes as a third group. Temp started out chilly 31 degrees at 0800 but warmed to 48 degrees and sunny needing sunglasses. Track dry and grippy. Great fun.
(I got that email too).
