I've only done 3 tracks days straight before but it's tempting to try to do 4-5 but I just can't make it work when I'm in the middle of May close. Why didn't they do this in late June???

I'm doing Sonoma May 31+June 1st. with Speed Ventures.
So I need hotel near the track 30-31st-1st. Any suggestions?

What hotel are we staying near THill June 3-8?

Trackar,

At Thundeshill, the best and only place is at the Holiday Inn Express.

San Francisco is about a 35-40 min drive to Sonoma raceway. Mite as well enjoy some fine dining and leave the credit car to your wife for a little shopping downtown. Mike

For logding in Sonoma, I would encourage you to stay nearby. City traffic is terrible, getting across the bridge requires a toll, and, even worse, there are no longer toll booth workers to take your money. You need to have a transponder on your vehicle. I guess out of town visitors simply get a ticket in the mail.

At any rate, depending on your wallet, there are plenty of nice places to stay in and around Sonoma. It's in the heart of wine country, so there are plenty of nice wineries, restaurants, hotels, shops and spas.
