4.0 prices are going crazy!!!
The local porsche dealer in my village has a RS 4.0 since around 4 weeks for sale!
It has 2k miles, one owner from july 2011. First they wanted 329.000€, one week later 359.000€ and now after 4 weeks 364.000€! but I have to say that are only 2 RS 4.0 in germany are for sale at the moment! The other car has 14k miles and costs 290k! One year ago an other dealer in my village sold a black one for about 220k€! Amazing how the prices are going!

it is an Epic 911. Epic 911's of any vintage this good are $250k-$1 000,000.00 plus.
History will show that it was not only the last manual tranny GT car, but it shared so much with the factory race car which appears to be the end of that practice....
Lets not forget that a street 997.2GT3RS entered the Nurburgring and placed well amongst factory race cars. Not bad for a car that was driven to and from the event....

That's only double what I paid for mine, so they have a lot of room to go up

I believe that the prices of the 4.0 RS will always be high. We are talking about the last of the mohicans. Manual (the last), stroked and amazing car.
The interesting thing will be in ten years. Then the prices will be very, very interesting!

That is very interesting, but more interesting to me will be the 991rs! I'm not to sure it will sell as good as PAG thinks. Just look at how popular the 997.2rs is and what price a good condition car goes for! Normally when a new model is released the old version takes a significant hit! Not the case this time. I bought my 4.0 to drive it and my 6rs as an investment but with these prices it's hard to find it relaxing to take the 4.0 to the track!
