bought a GT3RS 4.0 ... twice
so i been on the market for a 4.0 for sometime now. my parameters for a used car are always the same: one owner, low miles, no track, no mods, etc.
after a few months of looking, surprisingly enough two cars became available within 24 hours of each other. without thinking too much about it i figured why not get both. so yesterday we hopped on my jet and flew to colorado where first car with just 585 miles was located:
deer spooked by the sound of 4.0 exhaust:
car checked out just fine. here it is getting ready to put it on the transport:
car one mission complete, on the way to the new home:
second stop was in Arizona - just an hour flight but a huge difference in the temperature. we were greeted by people wearing shorts:
second car, with just 107 miles on the odometer, getting inspect "just-in-case" for any possibly body work, over-revs, etc:
everything checked out and second car is now also headed to the new home:
on the way from the airport to look at the car number two, transportation company SUV front windshield got nailed with a huge rock. luckily my friend who was sitting on the front passenger seat was wearing sunglasses -- the little pieces of glass flew all over inside the car:
aside from that, all-in-all a good trip: one saturday, two states, two cars added to the collection.
hope y'all had a good weekend as well

Nicely done! That must've been one hell of a HUGE rock! You sure it wasn't a boulder??? DAMN! Of course, since you are so capable with a camera, it is only appropriate that you take photos and post them of the rest of the rides in your stable! And, can I assume that it also includes a 918? Let's see 'em!

I'm sorry, I expected a 747 with built in transport. Disappointed :-)
Congrats, amazing pickups. Please drive them!!!!

Unfortunately they'll most likely be bubble wrapped and stored at some secret location collecting dust with dozens of other nice cars.

the car with adaptive sports seats i'll drive on the weekends if weather cooperates, while saving the car with bucket seats for track days which i hope to do more of in the future (sadly my current schedule just doesn't allow for many track days)

Whoa! First time saying this, but I'm actually jealous! Wish I could afford to have one 4.0 let alone fly in my private jet to buy two in 1 day...
Congrats man, hopefully one will be for collection while the other one will be to drive the **** out of it!
