New to Me a 2010 GT3 Meteor Grey...
Well I have been a member here for a few years and I have had 12 Air Cooled Porsches ranging from a 1966 911 to a 1995 and kept trading up till I purchased my 993 approx 3 yrs ago.
I was at Thunderhill last year and went for a few hot laps as a passenger in my friends 2010 GT3, It was all over after that. I had to have one. When we were done with the session I joked
with my friend and told him I felt like I owed him money. That was a better ride than any Great America or Disney Land ride I have ever been on!
Well at the end of last year I pick up my GT3 from another car enthusiast here in Northern CA. I had told a another freind of mine and RL member "Kirkwoodloyal" I was looking for a GT3,
and before I knew it he had called me a few weeks later and told me that he found the car for me and a 1 week later it was mine. It was the right color and it already had the GT2 seats I really
wanted & PCCB's. Another plus was the prior owner had kept it all stock.
The prior owner was the Perfect guy to buy from... he was in his late '70's and he was stepping up to a 991 GT3 because he did not want the third pedal anymore. His loss my gain.
I purchased the car in October and have been getting it ready to track and to enjoy our great mountain roads in Northern Calfiornia. So Far I have added the following:
Brey Krause Sub Bar Mounts
Brey Krause Fire Extinguiser Mount and Halgon Clean Agent FE
Pair of Schroth GT3 6pt Harnesses
Full GMG Headers and Muffler Bypass (Love the sound and no Drone, but I not so sure I can still pass sound at Thunderhill?)
GMG RSR Cage in Yellow to match the PCCB's
GMG 19" WC-GT wheels in Satin Black with Bridgestone RE-11's
Cobb Tuning Port (I'm waiting to get it Dyno Tuned, but I did do their stage 1 Flash)
Since I presume most on this side of the forum probably already have a GT3 or may be looking for one, I probably don't need to say it but these have to be some of the best bang for your buck cars.
Up unitl the GT3 I had never bought a car and thought I could just drive this "stock" car and probably be content. However we are all addicts and can't just leave anything stock
Thanks for looking and I hope to meet up with some of you guys at the track or for a weekend Drive. I need to get some instruciton time on the track so I can keep up with most of you

sick car. I'm in south bay and hopefully see you around. I like the yellow roll bar matched with the yellow calipers. are you still running the carbon rotors? would be neat to have yellow seat belts to match.

Keep it stock. Hahhaha. You have stronger will than all of us. nice car!
Regarding sound, I had no issues with 100 cell cats and stock center. Worst case you need a set of turn down tips.

Congrats on the new addition!!! I have your twin that was purchased last October. It is the best car I have ever owned and is truly a keeper. Plus meteor gray metallic is the best color.
