Default 997 GT3 Exhaust Tips

Opinions appreciated on aftermarket brand and size of exhaust tips.
My stock measure 70mm/2.75inches.
I have viewed many GT3 pics am still undecided on brand, size, and finish either raw or black.
Also, saw used magnesium on LA dismantler ads, but almost $700 used price.
Any other options you know of appreciated.
Thanks, Todd

Only 2 good options IMO are Sharkwerks & RSS. Sharkwerks are cut at a small angle, RSS are straight. I believe Sharkwerks use galvanized steel and they won't rust, not sure about RSS.

Thanks for your comments on the SW and RSS Tips.

I just posted a WTB on the GT3 forum for used 88mm SW, from someone that might have upgraded to the 100mm.

I'll spring for new ones if I dont get a reply.

Thanks again.

I just bought this off ebay and the H&S centre section came with some aftermarket tips. Not sure what make they are but they're slanted, align perfectly with the rear bumper (even in angle) and look really aggressive!! ;o)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-99...p2047675.l2557

I'll take a look asap and see if I can see any name on them.

cheers

Advice - order the Sharkwerks bypass with the 88mm tips...best street mod period! The sound in intoxicatingly sweet and the tips fill the space like it should have been. I am 54 and the sound is perfect. No Drone not too loud and this is what the damn car should have sounded like from the factory. I got mine ceramic coated. Best #2 street mod...EVOMS Flash...now go spend some money!

Installed the Sharkwerks bypass system and tips on my gen.1 RS last month and I am really pleased with the fit and finish along with sound. I also haven't needed it but I keep hearing there customer service is excellent as well. Can't beat that.

My shop made me some very cool looking full titanium tips. The base plate is machined billet titanium, the tips are titanium tubes double-walled. all custom fab'd. Diameter is similar to shark, but look slightly thicker due to double wall, stick out just a tick beyond the rear valence.

I think they look pretty bad ***. STUPID light.

I have a set of the sharkwerks tips too, they are nice, look good, suit the car, aren't too expensive

Those Ti tips look sweet. DO you know if the Porche Cup and RSRcars use Ti for their exhaust, since they dont look raw or ceramic coated black?

As far as I know cup and rsr are steel.
Cup muffler is same as street with perm welded tips and no top hole on side.
Rsr I want to say has some crazy iconel header to a straight pipe out back with angled tips.
