^^^That one sold for much less than market value. Bring A Trailer simply doesn't have the same audience as eBay or AutoTrader

The 2009 on BaT (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...che-911-turbo/) has been for sale in the Rennlist classifieds for a month or two. For the miles and unexciting build sheet, I think the Rennlist price was a bit high (around $74k, I think), even given that it's an 09. I bet it will go to mid $60s.
That doesn't seem off market value to me. Winter sale, 60k miles, cosmetic mods, and like-it-or-hate-it terracotta interior, plus the BaT buyer fee on top.

It’s an ‘07 not an ‘09. Price seems about right with awful wheels, terra-cotta leather, and mid miles.

Friends shouldn't let friends sell cars on BaT.
(I had a miserable experience attempting to sell a great low mileage manual 928s thanks to attempting to answer the peanut gallery...it's like hosting a beauty pageant at a packed strip club).

It's a fellow Rennlisters car... Looks like all the original rennlist ad has been deleted.
It's a nice enough car from the pictures I've seen, but has a surprising amount of rock chips on the front end... Definitely needs a nose respray. Some other minor cosmetic flaws as well. Nothing wrong with that, still a very solid car, but definitely affects value IMHO.
And I personally don't get the mystic behind the 2009 model year 997TT's... So it has the updated PCM. Big deal, it's still completely archaic IMHO.

Well done... Have you had eyes on it yet?
I'm always hesitant on auction cars, particularly when modified and/or higher mileage, as you have to commit in most cases without any real opportunity for a ppi or eyes-on personal inspection.

I would say this is the upper limit of me buying a car sight unseen. Anything else I would fly out and look at before buying.

Ended at $64,571. (Plus BaT's buyer fee, I think it's 5% up to $5k?)

I think this car was listed in Market place for over $70k, like maybe $72,500? So fair market price was about $68k to $70k...in which the seller only netted $64,250 (minus sellers fees) plus had to put up with all that peanut gallery bs about black car paint, "high mileage", the options and "pinning" the coolant lines...didn't follow along if Seller did or didn't attempt to answer all that...just skimmed the thread.
Price it right, sell it private party, avoid the agita of wanting to "defend" the car with guys who have no intentions of purchasing and are only fishing for thumbs up...would have made $4k more on the sale.
I wonder if the seller would have gotten more from Carmax?

I agree... Car was priced about right for Buyer WITH the premium, Seller could have netted more $ with less aggravation if it was originally priced more realistically on Rennlist. I thought it was listed for about $74-$75K?

Yeah, I think the price when it was first listed here was around $74k, which definitely felt high. From what I've seen, the vast majority of 6mt coupes belong somewhere in the $60s, with nice outliers with good options or low miles floating above and super high milers dipping below.
And I get that BaT is ~by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts~ and has good vsibility but it just never looks like it would be enjoyable dealing with the peanut gallery experts unless you have a perfectly documented garage queen with no possible shortcomings.

I ask cause the car I recently purchased has a $158k build...but half the option stuff I could live without...like rearview mirror, steering column and vents in leather, to start.
