What (available) tires on your putting on your street Turbo?
I have an 11 Turbo S. It's not a track car, just a fun car. i put about 3k miles a year on it. What tires that you can actually get are people using that they recommend for a good all purpose street tire.
Thanks.
Also do you normally buy on a place like Tire Rack and then have ur dealer install? The center lock and pccb make me reticent to allow just anyone to swap em out.
Thanks.

Michelin PS4S. They are hands down the best street tyre available for our cars. They're not N rated, but please don't let this stop you trying them out.
They perform well enough for long spirited drives and last almost too long, and work better than anything else I've used in the wet.

I am going with the Michelin PS4S as well.
May I ask where you are located as this is a "Max Performance Summer Tire" If you do not drive in winter months or in low temps they will also perform well for you. I am in Texas and do not have to worry about the cold.

MPS4s, ran them at 34/40 cold during the lunch break at the motorcycle track day I was at yesterday and after a really easy lap they were sticking like glue, even with PSM off and like 37/44 hot!
What street tire pressures are you guys running by the way? 99% of my driving in the Turbo is commuting with some playing around at stop lights and highway/a few twisty roads, my tires have 18.5k miles with a good amount of tread left(3-4k more miles I would guess)

Just got my 4S but not yet installed. I've run Michelins on many of my other cars and always found that they don't respond well when the pressures get to much psi (> 40) hot ( both handling and ride degrades). I'm new to a 997tt so still experimenting, but so far I find 31 frt, 36 rear cold works best for general driving..these will read 34/36 frt and 39/40 rear when hot (not canyon runs) and 37 frt, 40/41 rear hot in the mountains. This is an unladen car with driver and 100# passenger.
IMO Michelins work best in this psi range. More psi tends to make them heat up getting slick and losing grip sooner as I approached the limits. Too much heat will also show up as edge wear when pushing the car thru the corners, especially with a stock or near stock alignment.
From a wear standpoint Michelins can handle a fair amount of negative camber (-2.0 or more) but are more sensative to toe....too much or too little. FYI.

I put on Bridgestone SO4's after the stock Pirellis started making too much noise Don't track the car, and really like them for street tires. Hated the Pirellis. Bridgestones have worn well and have really good grip and seem to be more quiet as they have aged.. Cheaper than Michelins, which are very, very good.

31/36 for street sounds fantastic to me... comfort wise
Anyone’s else running & okay with those pressures? Im thinking that at that point it’s not just tire protection but wheel too over potholes. Don’t want them to be too too mushy.

I run PS2s on 20" and keep tire pressure at 31/35 F/R for mostly comfort driving. When this set goes, I'd probably give PS4S a try too but by that time, there may be better option out there. I have the Pirellis on the other P-car and it's okay...Sometimes it's the particular sizing/fitment that you look for that dictate the final purchase. I think when I was looking for rear set, PS4S didn't have the 325 sizing AND I wanted to match the front set which is PS2s.

Currently running hankook ventus tires. Yes I know they are on the cheap side... was pinching pennies for the suspension I had made. They are fair... definitely not a performance tire, a DD tire yes. P4S's will go on next time I need to swap them out in about 10k miles or so.
