It’s got a DMS tune. 3rd and fourth are fine but absolutely no boost i first and you really have to kick it to get good boost in second. It feels more like a C4S low down. Just bought some new actuator rods and changing the spring on the recirc valve but not sure that’s gonna help

Does the tune have a valet mode?

Check the large hose at the back of your plenum, it's called the Distributor Sleeve (it' only about 4-5 inches long and is about 4 inches in diameter). Mine kept popping off on the plenum side just enough that my boost would drop immensely. A couple of times it happened under hard acceleration and it just felt like something 'let go' or popped off, and darn it, that's just what was happening. Apparently the rubber flange on the edge of the Sleeve where it sits on the plenum deforms over time and the circle clamp that SHOULD hold it in place can no longer do so. I have a brand new replacement sleeve ($130 approx) sitting in my garage, but while I was waiting for it, I wired the clamp to another hose outlet on the plenum so it can't slide forward with the Sleeve/hose. The wire is doing it's job and I've had no loss of boost pressure since.
I read about this here on Rennlist when I did a search and others have had the same problem. Your issue could be different, but if this is it.....it's an easy fix, so it's worth a quick look under the engine lid.

Are you getting any cel or code?

Yes, I did have a low boost code, although I don't remember the code #. No CEL. Although I would register boost, it wouldn't go above 2..so just barely. It ran like a normally aspirated car that whistled too much.

That’s what you get for letting others do the work on your precious gem.
Trust no one but yourself…. But what do I know.
No way my trust issues are derived from being born in Soviet Russia.
P.S. The walls have ears

Def not normal. 1st gear has so much torque, I'm always surprised the axels don't shatter under the load. Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere. Pressurize the system and see if you can hear pressure bleeding off

Depending on your tune the car may not give full boost till 3rd and 4th gear. I am AIM tuned and there is not much boost in first gear. Basically for driveability... otherwise it will be like an on/off switch. If you have zero boost that's different but I barely have time to notice.😀

Thanks everyone!
I have bought one of those Bluetooth OBD2 readers and have downloaded the Torque app so I can hopefully get an accurate picture of what the turbos are doing. Will post presently
