I love looking at that color. Not sure if I could roll in it without feeling self-conscious, to be honest. But it definitely brings out the super-car in the TT, and that's special in itself.
I feel the same way! I LOVE looking at these cars, especially NSXavier's, and part of the appeal is knowing I could never pull it off myself!

I tried to buy a yellow 997TT locally a month ago. Guy assured me it was 'mint'.
Took it to a local Porsche dealer who on inspection found the lock nuts on the tie rods left loose. Like, holy flip.
Then I inspected the car and found fisheye holes in 3 panels that were so big you could almost swim a goldfish through them. Front hood, bumper and right door.
Decided to pass on the car, but I will find one. Been my fave car since this poster hung on my bedroom wall in the mid 1980s. This shot still makes me melt and feel like I'm 16 every time I look at it.

They were indeed GT3 Wheels. A custom made adapter-spacer was made to fit the rear wheels correctly under the widebody arches. I believe they were 30mm....

a bit too much of a spacer if you ask me.
Good God I love the look however you're prob right - a little too much spacer for me too - esp as I want to use them as track wheels.....
I missed a set of Gt2 spec a few weeks ago - on the hunt still!!
