It's actually a .1 PCM center stack that the previous owner had refinished in black. Looks great in my opinion.

yeah i was going to ask if you did that or it came that way. that is the next mod up on my list, i don't like the volcano gray center stack. it looks so out of place IMO.

trying to decide if i should tackle it myself or send it off to a place like bumperplugs. it looks like a real PITA job.

I had a black leather interior in C2S and the gray stack looked fine since every thing else was black and the contrast was good. But in a natural brown car, black was certainly the way to go.

I've removed the PCM before which wasn't hard just time consuming as I was taking it slow so as not to scratch anything. I've then watched a few vids on youtube on how to disassemble both the PCM and climate control bar to replace various buttons and controls. Again, not hard but time consuming. The painting itself should be simple and the key to success is in the surface prep work.

I'd love to see the result if you do choose to DIY the color change.

I like how your car has been coming together with your touches. You have for yourself one amazing ride!

Quick functional mod. The black and gray key fob seems flimsy so these inexpensive covers provide both protection and a little bling. Yes, I know I could have removed the fob components and installed in the .2 fob, but chose this route.

I like the red cover on your key... matches your Porsche perfectly. I changed mine from a .1 style my car came with to a .2 style.
