I know this is just a what tune you got thread so......I've had a softronic tune for many problem free years. 100 cell cats with no issues and the car is alive from it. Boooooooost kicks in much earlier. No problem out running those big big Dodge motors. I'm sure of the available tunes are a wake up call for the motor but a safe tune was very important to me.

My feeling on tunes is that on any Turbo car, a tune makes a big difference. It's on my to do list.

i am still on the fence whether to tune or not. my 2012 non s turbo seems adequate esp with the Sport setting. i do have an open appt with AIM Performance in Linden, NJ for their 690 hp package it's just a matter of time how long i can resist the temptation, it's either this or just move up to the 991 turbo.

Mine has a custom tune from Sam, I wouldn't have it any other way, but it is a Stage 4 ByDesign car now!

Another vote for a custom tune over an OTS tune. I have a BBi stage 1 custom pro tune managed through a Cobb accessport. Upgraded intercoolers and a free flow X pipe exhaust to help with the tune. I wouldn't have it any other way, the car is monster.

YES...because MOOOOO POOWWAAA.
But seriously, though, a tune wakes these cars up. Nothing beats walking other cars that think Oh another P car. BYE!

Custom tune from Sam on the 997 turbo, big difference over stock. Only other mod is Kline exhaust. Very happy!

No tune here. In fact, I haven't really done anything performance-wise to the car yet. I've spend most of my money/time replacing various worn trim items on the car, which has not been a cheap endeavor. Of the list of things that irritate me about the stock car, power isn't one of them. At some point, I'll get around to it, but a tune is low on my list at this point.
