Default door panel trim

these 2 pieces...mine are carbon, so i'm not aware...but for those who have non-carbon, non-alcantara, is the only other option for these two parts stitched leather? or does OEM offer generic plastic/vinyl versions? i can't seem to find non-leather OEM replacements for these.

Are you asking for a cheap alternative? Because “generic OEM” is a misnomer, and Porsche never made what you’re describing.

right... so aside from factory CF or alcantara options, the only available format is leather with the stitching, just like the ones in the attached photo?

can other owners here confirm?

Porsche never offered a plastic option for those parts, leather was standard. Unless someone out there is making plastic replacement parts, that’s what’s available.

ha, forgot about the wood!
but even judging by that example, i can see the stitching right below that smaller piece... which leads me to think that the standard format is indeed stitched leather... for both pieces I've encircled.

if anyone has one that's not, please do post.

Take a look at a 997 sales brochure because nobody else is going give you a different answer.
