Default Tires for 997.1 from Costco

Looking to replace the tires of my 09 997 TT. The current tires still have tread life but are 7y old.
I currently have Michelin PS2 and looking to replace them with PS4S. Ordering/installing them at Costco is much cheaper than ordering from tire rack and having them installed at my Porsche Indy.
Any experience with getting Costco to install tires on a sport car?
Also Costco Website doesn't ask if I have ceramic brakes while all other websites do (Tirerack, Mavis...). I don't see why it would matter. Any thoughts?

Thanks

What comes to mind is if you have PCCB rotors the mechanic has to be very careful when removing/installing the wheel to make sure they don’t chip or ding them.

My concern is not so much about buying from Costco but installing the tires at Costco. I d9n't have a lift so can't take the 4 wheels off. Anyone has experience with Costco installing new tires on a 911?

I have not but am curious now. Not saying it's necessary or worth it but is there an option to buy just the tires at Costco and install elsewhere?

In the end I chickened and paid full price from Tirerack and getting them installed by my Indy...

I only let the local dealer install tires. He has a special tool to dismount with ceramic brakes. The risk is not worth the mice nuts savings anywhere else.

Macan and Wife's CLK go to Discount tire.

It's been a while (I'm about due for new rubber as well...) but I bought my PS4Ses on TireRack and had Costco install them. No issues, didn't mar up the wheels or anything, was done in a couple hours.

Perfect advice for Porsche owners contemplating maintenance costs, "risk not worth the mice nuts savings".

Too funny,
too true.

ditto re the ceramic brakes. also, I would have them balanced with road force balancer and an experience operator

duck duck go tells me that there are 602 costco stores in the US.
I think you are asking too general a question, just like asking how does discount tire do.
if you are active in your local PCA group ask them for a recommendation.
If you are not, might be a good idea to join.

Love Costco, big fan.

I would never ever take my Turbo there.

i have a relationship with a tire guy at costco. On my collector/performance cars, i bring the wheels over in my pickup so that costco doesn't touch the car. Prices are great, mounting/balancing is great plus you get the built in tire puncture/failure insurance. Highly recommend!
