It's great to see GM using its engineering to come up with product that gets your blood flowing.
The question is how to you put 650 hp down with run flat rubber. I've had some mega hp cars and its always a challenge to control the right foot. With the chassis upgrades to control this much power often makes these cars not very driveable on the street. I'm sure this will be the most sought after model for some time, given the 997 price and acceleration/power to weight of an ENZO.

is it me or do US car companies have the worst time making wheel wells and the wheel look 'right'? Mustang has the worst, pick any year. But this pic looks bad also.
Now take your BMW or Porsche and see how cleaner of a job they do.

"No matter how fast you are, you can't outrun ugly"
Priceless, & accurate for the Vette's, Mustangs (or butt-stains as my wife calls them).
I wouldn't put a dime towards anything American built within the last 34 years. If Z06's are so fantastic, why did my 3 friends who bought them when they first came out, dump them with under 1k miles on them w/o profitting? Something's amiss here...maybe it was 70k for a plastic interior.

People are still putting style over function. It has to look good first, and after that it has to perform to standards. Substance is a very far placed third.
The transmissions, engines, and platform are very good. So there is some plastic - spend 5k and get an all leather corvette interior with your name engraved on the dash.
Pound for pound, it seems like a great buy. People have mentioned some spooky mid-corner handling. That could be worked on in the aftermarket.

Sometimes you'll put up with a bit of ugly if it fits your needs otherwise. My new M5 with it's Bangle design will never be a pretty car- not like my 997 S but it's so much fun to drive that I don't notice it behind the wheel. I'm sure the ZO6 crowd feels similarly. It's no Porsche but has its attributes non the less...
