Hummmm..., I've been thinking..., I want the the thieves to keep the car as long as possible. The longer they have it the greater chance they will kill themselves with it and total car!!

Getting the abused car _back_ from them would probably be a long term nightmare.

Not to mention the monster B.O. (or worse, BBO) the car would have according to Seinfeld.
