Default 997TT CAB - 50K Over

Just drove out to the Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills...they are asking 50k over for their first turbo cab. They must be smoking crack.

I bought one today...and paid 5K over. What a pair I have a blk/blk turbo coupe and a blk/blk turbo cab. The only sacrifice I had to make was going with tip on the cab(wife needs to drive something).

The car should be on a truck tomorrow and I will have it in LA about a week later. I will post pics as soon as I get it.

How sad. I am friends with the Part Manager at that store, he is a good guy. If you need some stuff, call Bill Profeta, he is knowledgeable, pleasant and decent folk.

I just hate to see this kind of thing, but unfortunately, Auto Gallery has a long standing reputation in our community of adding premiums to the sticker. It is too bad, they are just finishing construction on a beautiful store. I'll take my car their for service and parts but will not pay over window sticker for the cars. Regardless of market conditions, I can't see any reason to pay more than MSRP...

It is sad because the owner is a greedy pig. I offered them 15k over car and they said NO. I then proceeded to call Joe Levac at Marhall Goldman Motor Sales in Cleveland Ohio and told him I would pay up to 5K over for a blk/blk turbo cab(they are not even a Porsche dealer). They found the car and were happy to sell it to me for 5k over.

Ddavis I did speak with Isringhausen and the car they have available is a stick shift with a late Sept build date...I have purchased cars from them in the past.

The cab carries a $10,300 MSRP premium over the coupe. Reasonable if you consider the mechanism and smaller production run.

Their greed is astounding, my local dealer is selling TT cabs at MSRP - for spring 08 delivery.
I would never do business with an outfit like Auto Gallery under any circumstances, either for sales or service.
