If I had the ***** to be flat out in the esses, I'd hit over 150 going into the bus and be in the 2:10's for sure. The turbo is flat nasty on the track, totally different beast than any 996 variant. the sport mode is at least as good as the x73 suspension on the 996TT/4S, plus the car acts more like a rwd car with the significant rear wheel bias c/w the 996 platform. This car is a beast, make no mistake.
Didn't bring my pyrometer(never do with street tires), 29 cold bridgstones went up to 36psi hot, then I cranked that down to 29 hot fr/ 36 hot rear, that IS the combo!

The 3psi differential seems to be a common problem. has anyone been able to get their dealer
to re-calibrate the TPMS system? I did see a calibration link in another thread that listed directions from Beru (the TPMS system mfg) but I tried this fix and it did nothing.

The glen was awsome, I spanked several z06s', and got my *** handed to me by a lingenfelter 650hp version. I was up to 143-148mph on the back straight, ran a 2:13ish lap, for me my best ever there and on street tires!

Maybe that the orientation of the sensor is incorrect as another poster mentioned, When I purchased my current wheels they came without TPMS sensors, had the dealer install them and swap wheels, they may very well have put the sensors in backwards. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to remove a tire from one of the rims. I will have them check this again at my next visit.

TPMS big discrepancy
Hi. a gt3rs stock setup is experience a big tpms discrepancy. front R&L, rear left all just fine. rear right shows WILD #s. like 65psi.
i hav checked it with two different gauges outside of the tpms and they are pretty close, 33, 34ish. give or take. not concerned about 2psi, but 30psi?
something seems whacky.
anyone havea link to the calibration process? ideas? thoughts? just a bad unit needing to be replaced.?

Burning Brakes
When I check the TPMS with cold inflation temperatures through the OBD, the TPMS is right on (with the +/- display). Be sure to program in the "correct" load (partial or full) when comparing the TPMS to actual inflation PSI/Bar with a tire pressure guage.
