Default my build on a 997 TT cab. Please review and comment

Hi folks:

Thanks for the all the advise everyone's given me thus far on options. I've added red tail lights, diff, washer washer to match paint, red deviated stitching etc.., I didn't do the illuminated door sill as I figure the doors are primarily closed and you can you won't see them during the day. Is that a mistake?

My sales rep said the short shifter is done at the dealer and it's not on the options guide. Here is what my options list looks like now. The car specs out at $155k, ouch.

Please feel free to comment.

Thanks again for everyone's feedback. It's been VERY helpful.

CDZ I believe is the option you'll need for the gap between shifter boot and front console trim area....and if you don't do this, along with upgraded shifter and brake, none will have the red stitching.

And have you seen red stitching all over black interior yet? You should before you order it.

Check this thread from Jason on Rennteam...very thorough:

I would consider also getting

XPA - Thicker Leather Steering Wheel

Swing by the dealership and ask to see the standard and then the thicker to see which one you like better.

I'd encourage you to get DAW which also includes CDZ and will have the deviated stitching on the shift boot. These items fall under the exclusive category so 09991 will ensure that you're covered. Either DAW or DAX but I believe that it's said that we cannot get DAX in the US for some reason. If you don't get these items then you'll end up with an shift boot that doesn't have deviated stitching. As Eric pointed out, I created the other monster thread that shows everything. I think that XPA is also an exclusive option so that also will get deviated stitching too. The standard steering wheel will not be deviated.

Finally, I'd also encourage you to get this:

CUV - Storage Compartment w/Turbo Logo

Otherwise you'll end up with the cheap looking vinyl compartment cover which IMHO won't look good with your painted center console.

And finally, the lighted door sills looks incredible for what it is. You may think that it wouldn't be worth it because it's not visible when the doors are closed. I think that it adds a certain classy feel to the Turbo especially at night when opening the doors up.

Finally, the sportshifter is a factory option. I'm not sure why your dealership is telling you otherwise.
