Went to see it again.....
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE......
I went out to Ira today with my wife to see Alfie, see the car, and to sign 20 pieces of paper and hand over the check. I also got to meet Mrs. Alfie for the first time (she is apparently a P-car lover too).
I spent some time sitting in the car and I have to say it just feels like I'm home. After leaving Ira, I went out to swap my summer rubber back on the car since I am trading in the C4S. It was definitely a melancholy experience changing the wheels on the C4S for the last time. Driving around today was also similarly blue: I thought the whole break up thing ended when I got married. I just want that car to go to a good home.
Here are some more pics:
In the saddle with a big enthusiastic thumbs up!!!!
My wife (tall Asian chick) with Alfie and Mrs Alfie:
Gratuitous SOLD sign shot:

Enjoy the TT Dave. You will soon get over the sale of the previous Porsche, although I still miss my 993 at times.

Driver side so you can reach it, I suppose. It's a factory option, not expensive. As I checked off practically every option, I passed on the fire extinguisher. Here's why.
I have personally seen a near new GT3 go up in flames. One extinguisher fully depleted will stop some fires, but not all. I saw the damage done in the first 5 minutes, and asked myself if I would still want that car after the insurance said to get it fixed, not total. Rather let it go all the way. In Europe an extinguisher is mandatory.

To put an extinguisher in my C4S I had to use a Brey Krause bracket and buy an extinguisher which all together was about 300 clams. Basically the same for my 986 with GT3 seats and the Sharkwerks FE kit. The factory option is cheap!

Anyone know if the extinguisher comes with Halon and where I can get a replacement? I bought some GT3 sport seats that came with the extinguisher but it's the white dry chemical kind. Even an accidental discharge from those bottles would cost a lot to clean up.
