Default just could not do it

Turbos are not for everyone. I was seconds away from getting a great 2007 with all the good options. I did get a PPI from a Porsche dealer and the car is great.

I am a GT3 guy and so I am going to stay with them. If anybody is interested in a silver pccb, dif, chrono list was >$140K the asking price is $85K 13,000miles

Congrats, what color 3 did you get?
Coming from a 996 gt3, not sure a tt is for you anyway. Besides, like dirty harry said, 'a man's gotta know his limitations' jk, congrats!

The depreciation on the tt is simply astounding...

It's better than some. I bought an 06 SL65 that was orginally 187 for 63K 3 months ago.

I understand, I use to have an 04 GT3 and I prefer it than my current 03 turbo. The handling is very different. If I had the chance I would jump back in a GT3.

Damn - sounds like an awesome Turbo, but about 6 months too soon for me. Where is the car at and where was it advertised?

My cousin paid over 200 K for one when they first came out.

I understand that the 12 cylinder MBs have some of the worse depreciation curves of any vehicle.

It is in the Seattle area. PM me if you are interested and I will make the connection. It is a cool car and if I wanted a turbo I would have gotten it. Like I said before the GT3 is the car for me as I track a couple of days a month.

I recently went through planning to order a 2010 GT3 and ended up with a TT. After lots of analysis, the TT makes more sense for me for a number of reasons, one of which is the need for back seats, and one of which is the reality of my driving habits. While I am not disappointed and feel I made the right decision, all things considered, I still have some pangs for a GT3-like RWD car and I'm still getting used to AWD (first for me). However, I can see myself beefing up the suspension as time goes on (and I knew I had that option when I went for the TT). Sounds like you made the right decision, for you. Now ask me again after I finish break-in and spend more time in turbo-boost and redline!

yeah...........i got a hankering for the 2010 GT3 and have tried to sell my 08TT. I got plenty of offers..down in the 95K range. This was a dose of reality for me. I was mre than just "astounded" by the depreciation. My dealer has the car on consignment for a couple of months in his show room. People have oohed ovr it, but no offers.

I picked it up yesterday and headed out to the back-roads around Mobile and ran it as fast as I could. I think it is time for me to think about some mods and keeping my car!

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm currently looking for a 997tt and figure the stretch to a gt series isn't that far. I do like a NA engine. The only problem is(light your flame throwers) is that it only comes in manual. I think I would prefer the handling of the gt, as I don't mind a rough ride, but rowing gears in Miami traffic really makes you think about it twice.

This is hard for me to understand.

If you prefer an automatic transmission over a manual because of the traffic in Miami, then how and when could you appreciate the handling of a GT car?
