Default Fabspeed Exhaust

Hi,
Does anyone have a Fabspeed exhaust system on their TT? If so, please comment on the sound, in cabin resonance (if any) and any performance improvement you feel. I have an opp to buy a used set with 4000 miles at a pretty decent price. Thanks for your input.

I had the headers,200 cel cats and mufflers. It was great and the headers are crafted well! Now that was in a 996 GT3.

I have had all three and the 60MM is the loudest as far as resonating in the cabin. I would say that the normal coupe version is pretty quiet. The cab version is even quieter than that. Even with the big one I have I can't say that I find it annoying at all.

GT3 or any NA car will always be much louder.

I have the Fabspeed muffler & headers on my 08 turbo Tip with no objectionable drone or sound .Bought the car with system already installed. So I have nothing to compare it to but imagine its the quieter version. No complaints.

Chris, some fellow rennlisters and I are doing a run to Mt Equinox, Vt in May. Why don't you consider going. It's posted on the 993 forum. PM me if you want more information. We also put together NY/NJ runs thoughout the year.

If I had the time I would love nothing more than to take a drive across the country.

I saw that thread when it first came up and I would definitely be up for the Sat. drive. I looked yesterday but didn't see it - is it definitely on?

Not buying that, cause anyone with your money & drives a Porsche should be able do what ever they want. What ever happened to real men lol, anyway you have a standing invitation. Regards Lou

It truly blows. Like I said above, I'll take lots of drives off the island to go find some nice roads. What makes it worse is it seems as though there are twice as many cops as there used to be.

I used to go out late at night during the summer to stretch it's legs, but just too may cops now.

I would love to come out your way to drive, but then again, when you want good pizza at 1:00 in the morning what do you do?! LOL!

Chris,
Lots of great roads here in the Hudson Valley area. I'll send you a note next time we have a run or just feel like taking a Sat/Sun afternoon for a drive.
