Default Hunting down one strange noise....

Not a vibration, and really not much of an annoyance....yet.

You know that sound when you have a zipped briefcase, and the zipper bounces around a bit....or if your coat zipper is rattling just a bit?

I hear that coming from behind my left shoulder while driving, and there is nothing in the door pocket, nothing in the floorboard, nothing loose behind the seat, etc.

Checked a variety of things thus far, but nothing obvious.

Anyone had this sound before?

I had something similar coming from the rear passenger side, it was the rear side window that was vibrating. Packed it with a rubber strip and doesnt vibrate anymore. try to push on it while driving and see if the noise goes away.

Do you hear the noise when the rear seatbacks are down? My rear belts used to rattle and rub around the little black lever used to lower the seatbacks.

Lower the seatbacks and take the slack out of the belts and see if it goes away.

Nothing from the rear seatbacks. Up or down, no difference, and metal tabs from rear belts are down low, so no rub against anything that would create noise.

Nothing in door pockets.
No loose change on floor.
Nothing loose under driver seat.
Checked all seat hardware.
No jacket with zippers.

No clue...will keep digging. Very light noise, not a huge issue, just a minor annoyance.

Thanks for any suggestions!

There are bolts that hold the clamp that holds the rear quarter windows to the body (my layman's explanation of what I heard). My passenger side had worked a little loose and was causing a vibration similar to what you describe. Dealer tech ID'd it during a test drive where I drove and he sat in the back. I believe the sound is more like rubber on loose glass than bolts rattling.
