$125 with a filter at my local German car repair shop. I tried to buy a TT there and they were about 5k under on my trade and 5k over on the asking price. I give them credit, they know how to make money and nice folks too but that's just not right for an oil change.

I wonder if PM would do the work with customer supplied parts (oil, filter), might save a few pennies that way. Otherwise, gonna shop around, even though they're the closest to my house.

Unlike the 993, oil change on the TT is a piece of cake. Its an easy DIY - about 45min at the most if you take your time. In parts, $12 for the filter and washers + $58 for 9qts of M1 0w40. It'll cost you $70 and an opportunity to bond with your car

Dudes...be serious. Don't buy a nice car if you can't afford to maintain it. The same oil & filter cost me over $800 in California. Quit your crying!

paul miller is the most over priced dealer in everything in the tri state. They suck.

as for $800 for an oil and filter change, I call bull****.

you have got to be kidding me...so just because a guy chooses to purchase an expensive piece a machinery he should just throw caution into the wind when it comes to prices on maintenance. If all dealers charged the same exact prices (or near)on oil changes(among other things). Your comment might have some validity but the price gouging that some of these dealers practice is atrocious.

there's a seat for every A$$...but not everyone needs to sit down.....

Pricey, but perfectly in line with other quotes that I've encountered.

Regardless, it's an enjoyable DIY. Suncoast has everything you need, including...

Did you mean to start another thread and dropped your post here erroneously?

We're on the topic of pricy oil changes here

$800.00 for just a oil change. I will be more than happy to change it for 750.00. Throw in a car wash to boot.

Anyone who pays $800 for a pcar oil change needs to pay $3500 for a brain scan. Got to be something missing. I thought 300.00 was rape.

I have found an Indy shop here in the Boston area that charges $99.00
Asked them how so cheap, answer was they dont make much money on the oil change but they do get repeat business for other things.
They treated me very well so i had them install a OEM short shifter and they also did my Gundo hack on my mufflers, now that i think about it....it's time for another oil change.
