Ordered the Turbo S for 3rd time first time in early Feb for Ice Blue Coupe in March a Cab came avail soI switched to Ice Blue Cab. Had three delays in Ice Blue then yesterday got the call no IBM until 2012 .

So today placed order for PTS Azzuro California Blue choice #1 or PTS Adria Blue #2 should know in a few days if Pts colors are accepted or which one.

So Ice Blue saga is over hope there are no more delays said delve could be late Dec or Jan.

Trip to dealer did end on a good note actually two got confirmation on wife's CTT build in Nov.

Then as walking out dealer asked me if I wanted to go for a ride He just got another customers black on black TurboS delve. Customer had done a European Delv so car had 1100k on clock.

The Turbo S was allI had expected sound was great car will fly. He didn't get in it too much but it did have wow factor I was hoping for.
I will have to admit I was nervous riding in someones 170k car even though I wasn't driving I could see someone pulling out in front of us. That would be bad I will have to spend another $1800 for radar install to save me from too many tickets.

Now I am really looking forward to my car being delve. Come on Santa hurry up.

Congrats! Man, I would be pissed if the salesman was taking my car out for a joy ride.

+1 , I would have to agree. If that were my Turbo S out on the interstate and I didn't know about it, I would be a little irritated. Nonetheless congratulations on your order, and if your car comes in early don't let anyone drive it other than you.

I had a somewhat similar problem with the Ruby Red order. Color had been announced, but factory was very slow sending sample to dealer. I did not finalize order till I saw sample.

The owner had given No actually requested the Salesman to take it for a spin. I was just lucky enough to be there as he was going out. He has sold a dozen or so cars to owner. They have a bit different deal. I agree I would want anyone taking my car out.. Thats why I was nervous the entire ride. I just knew Murphy's Law was going to set in.

I may have to watch them take mine off truck ,detail oh yea give me the gas card I will go fill up

Ice Blue color wont be available at this time till the 2012 Cars come out No reason was given to dealer from Porsche. Must be a problem with paint formula or something. Surely somebody got canned over that Boo Boo

Then do you have any reason logic or just plain ole guess to why Porsche would bring a color our to broadcast the coming of Turbo S and then not be able to produce.

I just hope in two years when I do get to see a car that color. I am still happy with Azzuro California Blue.

Azzure is also a good color, ck out baltic blue as well.
Who the hell asks a freaking salesman to drive their brand new turbo s? They should not be allowed to purchase such a car.

Baltic Blue is a very classic color, best of the bues IMO.
