Default Midnight detailing session! (with new pics)

Just finished a multi coat detailing session on my car! It is 1.00am here.
And I had promised some pics with a proper camera after a detailing session so here you go... (can barely type my arms are so sore!) I am not a fan of flash photography in a garage in the dark, so I have tried to use pics with no flash as it distorts the colors. So pardon the slightly grainy shots.

I have been a fan of Zaino for years, so thats all I used.
Started with a z7 wash, then clay bar, then another wash.
Towel dried, then went on with a coat of Z5 Pro polish, buffed it out, then a coat of z6 detailing spray, then another coat of Z2 Pro polish and buffing. Are you tired yet? I am! Started at 9.30pm, finished at 00.30... But I got to caress the gorgeous curves of my car, top to bottom, 9 times!!

I know the brake disks are rusty, didnt have the courage to drive it around before the pics.

Oh and last is a gratuitous pic of the pocket rocket. Don't laugh!

Enjoy.

Nice job, I'm also a big Zaino fan. I clay barred my Boxster and used P21S and it looked dull and drab. I used Dawn, washed off the wax did the typical Zaino ZFX, a few coats of Z2 Pro followed by Z6 spray and it just popped! I love that stuff and use it on all my cars. Although I usually detail my cars during the day....

Actually Bob I havent tried ZFX yet! Been doing the old traditional way... Z5 then Z3 etc. Should give that a try. Got the new Z AIO all in one thing, but will use it on the econo bus... the TT deserves more elbow grease. Family back from summer home Monday, I am there for the weekend too, so it was either going to be a midnight session, or one with the kids around me... erm easy choice.

Nice color Nick the Florida Greek. post some pics.
Leigh I am sure that is a difficult job on a basalt car...

Will try to get some pics in the daylight next week to post.

All you need is ZFX if you start all over againas a base, Z2 Pro and that's it. Simple, no elbow grease easy on and easy off. That's one of the benefits of Zaino it should come off effortlessly. If it doesn't you are putting too much on. Check out their site www.zainobros.com

lol. Nice one!

Hummm..., Ya know what? I bet in the years ahead Porsche might come up with a technology to activate a marketing ploy by which they will add color to the ceramic brake disks during manufacture!

Analogous to the strategy behind our TT wing, they'd multi-color the PCCB system components in order to create an anxious "I-want-that!" buzz in parking lots across the globe.

Nick drop the 1am detailing and cleaning and give me a call. I have the perfect solution for getting the car dirty and the disk brakes super clean and shiny.
