Aftermarket Exhaust system 997 TT.1

It is of interest to me that all of the exhuast videos from manufacturers are filmed "on the street", in a office park on Sunday or some other out-of-the-way place. I would like to hear how they sound on the track.

You are correct...the tips in the video are different from the ones that I have. Capristo offers a number of different options. The tips you see in the video do fill out the hole in the bumper, but to me, didnt really look like a true exhaust tip. They've alos made some variations of what you see in the video, and what I have. I've attached some pics of the tips below. I chose the ones that are on the red TT

Just heard from Stef today. My exhaust (EuroPipe) is complete and I will soon have a Fed Ex tracking number. I will post pics and a report after I have it installed next week.

I am sure he will come around. Patience IS a virtue when we are talking about our new toys...
I am glad and grateful you shipped my tips already. Thanks.

Finally had my Europipe sports exhaust installed today and picked my car up tonight. What a great drive home it was. The sound is just like Stef described. No loud drone inside the car, but a great Porsche symphony of sound outside. You hear all aspects of the flat six without it just being loud. Anything can be loud, but this exhaust appeases the tonal qualities of your ears. Depending on what gear you're in, you hear different notes and gurgles as you up shift or downshift. There isn't just one note to this instrumental piece, but a cacophony of aural pleasure. I thank Chris for recommending this exhaust. Although the cost maybe somewhat prohibitive; to me, it was worth every penny. Looking forward to taking it out this weekend.

Erm being Greek I have to intervene. I think you mean symphony or polyphony and not cacophony. Cacophony is a collection of bad noises, someone signing off key. Polyphony is a harmonic collection of sounds like a symphony.
On another note (pun intended) thanks for the writeup. I hope my EP project will be done by year end... Listening to a stage 2 soon locally but I think I will be going with a stage 1. Let's see...
