Default Slate Gray TT w/ Sand Interior ... Thoughts?

I am looking at this car in Dallas. Anyone know the car or have thoughts on the Slate Gray / Sand color combo? Thx!

One thought on this color combo...

HOT-Love it! And normally I can't stand gray or silver.

LOVE the colors.

Slate Grey is just a fantastic color. At one point I was trying to find a 993 in this color. Slate gray is quite rare though.

Sand int should look good with the grey. Buy it, or I will!

thanks for your replies. One if the things I'm trying to figure out is 'how green' this gray really is. Any insight!

Its not green at all..more beige depending on the light. Slate looks so different in so many ways. We could have an entire "Slate thread" and I'm sure we won't see the same hue posted twice. Probably the main reason I'll never get bored with it.

I saw a slate something at the dealer when I was choosing my order color. Green is among my least favorite colors, but the slate was among my top 3 choices. If that tells you how little green there was in it.

L8Apex, besides having a stunning avatar, is right about the brown tinge in the slate.

I have a Slate Grey 356. That's a solid non-metallic color with a fair amount of green in it.

Slate Grey metallic is not similar to the old slate grey. Can't see any green in it from my experience.

Great color combo, I have sand beige interior and will never go back to a dark color again. Looks like a sweet car. Good luck with your decision.

Where is that in Dallas? I'm not gonna steal it, just curious if I could shed some light on the seller.

Slate does seem to have a touch of brown in it, but no green that I can see.

It is a great color. First, as an option it was $3,070 back in 2006 on my Carrera. This makes it a rare color. I would agree with everyone, that it picks up the colors around the cars, be it a light blue sky, the warm light of sunup or sundown.

Love the color combo. If you don't buy it, I will!
