My Turbo S is Here!
I can thank Anies at Isringhausen Imports, and of course Geoff Isringhausen, for getting me into a custom spec'd Turbo S in a very short time. I called Anies on Oct. 29, and he said they had a December build that was ordered and in the system, but not in production yet, so I could change it. I jumped on it, and ordered a car with just a few options:
Cream White
Two-tone Black/Sand Beige Interior
Sport Bucket Seats
Turbo II Wheels (5 bolt)
Voice Control
XM Radio
It went into production on December 14, and arrived at Isringhausen in Springfield, IL on Friday, January 14 and I picked it up Monday.
It killed me to give up the free and very trick center lock wheel option, essentially throwing away $3,835, but I do a lot of DEs, and have the wheels on and off once a week during the spring and summer. From what I've read on this forum, and what I've seen at the track, it's a lot of hassle with the center locks.
I've only had the drive home so not many driving impressions yet. This weekend I'll have the winter tires mounted so I can continue the break in.
I have just a few mods to do:
Brembo 2-pc. Slotted PCCB replacements front and back
GMG WC Sport lowering springs
GT3 lower control arms front
Tarett rear toe control arm
XPel film
Cream White
Two-tone Black/Sand Beige Interior
Sport Bucket Seats
Turbo II Wheels (5 bolt)
Voice Control
XM Radio

Great looking car; especially the interior! Seats look great! I would suggest that you have Sol Snyderman in Buffalo Grove, IL work his magic on your lovely new turbo. Congrats again on a beautiful car.

Based on how you are going to set it up and with those seats why not a GT3RS? Wouldn't that be a better track toy?
