Default Front Licence Plate Options

Before a dealer drills the front bumper, can anyone recommend a good looking front license plate option for a 997.2 Turbo? (I know that's an oxymoron).

Any suggestions?
What is the price of a ticket in MA if I don't put one on?

Does anyone have these options:
-Altec Products Retractable Front Licence Plate w/ remote http://www.altecproducts.com/index.htm
-Skene Design http://www.skenedesign.com/FPBracket/Order.shtml

Thanks!

None. As in no plate.

A warning ticket or two, then maybe re-evaluate.

Take a look at http://moweraxle.com/
I have used these mounts on my turbo and bmw. Looks ok - nothing beats no front plate.

I am in a state that mandates a front plate but I have never put one on my '07TT nor any of my former sport rides. My wife also does not have a plate. I like the suggestion above and would advise to NOT put on the plate...rrm

I reluctantly put the tow hook mount on since in L.A. they are pretty tough about enforcement. Not crazy about the offset look, but at least I don't have holes in the bumper.

Some guy from Seattle had a duplicate plate made of vinyl/plastic and stuck it on the bumper. Saw it at Rennsport Reunion - pretty cool. Not sure its legal but maybe it would work except with a total doucebag cop (of which there are probably more than a few).

Thank you, No HTwo 0, Riz, rrm, fly2low, jcnesq. I don't like the off center look, but I may get the Skene Design as plan B. In an age of Satellites, GPS, WiFi, CPU, speed radar technology, etc., having a front plate on new cars seems redundant. Especially in MA, you have people with older "green plates" which are for rear only. The double standard is rather arbitrary.

I love the James Bond slide under the car deal.
Cop pulls you over for no plate, goes to check, plate is there. Look on face: priceless...

I got a front plate ticket in Hollywood with my 993.

Meter cop was watching the meter, practically had the dual ticket made out when it clicked over.

Bought a moweraxle plate holder. Solid well made unit, but ugly. Took it off after a couple months and it went with the 993 when I sold it.

Kept the plate in the car with the ready excuse that it just came off at the car wash.

Now live in a paradise one plate state.

Someday, when/if I retire, I will take this into consideration, if I relocate.

Buy property in a single plate state- preferably one that is zero sales tax. Can't believe this wasn't suggested.
