I've run the 245/325 setup for a yr without issue. It's less than 1% difference f/r. You might have an issue with 315s.

thanks Surgeon, i was told it was a bigger % difference than what you're saying. if its less than 1% it should be fine.

i'd still like to go RWD but unfortunately that doesn't seem as easy as it is for the 996TT guys.

Sorry to resurrect this thread.

What is the best offset for 12x19 GT3 RS wheels on a Gen 1 (5 Lug) 997 Turbo (rear)

51 or 67?

The car currently has standard/original 997 Turbo rears which are 11.5 wide and have an offset of 51.

I don't want the wheels to stick out more than they do.

Any help greatly appreciated

51. They'll sit a little more flush with the fender but they'll look better than if they were inset.
