Price guidance on 08-09 Turbo
I screwed up and sold my 996TT to a friend of mine about 6 months ago. I've had 15 or so 911's and I thought I was done for a bit. Turns out, I've got the itch pretty bad for a 2008-09 TT 6 speed cab. Mid 20's mileage is fine. The price range is pretty broad. What's fair for a good car from a private owner? Thanks in advance.

20-30k miles. Cabrio. 6 speed.
Budget $70-80k for the right car.
2009 has satelite radio and is last year for production of that engine thus may command more money, especially a car with CPO warranty.

I just bought my 09 6MT, 21K mile cab with heated and ventilated seats and a lot of other nice options for $73K. The asking was $80K. I researched the 07-09 resale market extensively before I "stole" this car (lucky find) from a local Lexus dealer. IMO, the 09 coupe or cab gets $10K more for a manual and a $3-5K premium for being an 09. So (again MO) an 09 coupe with a manual should sell for $73-79K and a cab with manual should sell for $80-89K. Of course these prices are retail and are dependent upon options, mileage and condition. But, current 09 prices seem to be stabilizing and in some cases may be increasing slightly. Again (IMO), the 07-09's with manuals (more $$) or tips are the next 993's to increase in value and desirability i.e. 10 years ago a 993 turbo was $60-70K, now they sell for $120K and up.

I do not think a car like yours would sell for $73 if it would have been a coupe.
Imo of course.

Damn you guys are getting some good deals. Right now I'm looking for a '09 Manual 997 Turbo Coupe with less than 30K miles (non-silver) and they are in the $85K-90K advertised range. Apparently dealers know about this "special-ness" of this car as that's some ~$15K over NADA/KBB.
Cab's this winter not only seem to be more prevalent, but they seem to be cheaper than Coupes. I think it's because most people looking for a manual 997 Turbo are Coupe type buyers.
Oh and 2009 manual Coupes with PCCB's are almost impossible to find...
