In Los Angeles I get the envious dirty look most often in my 997TT, you know the pretending they are not looking, but they really are.. Lol

In my Viper get lots of thumbs ups,

In my Lexus, don't get any looks

I had this two-three weeks ago, "owners" of a Audi RS7 and BMW M4 come up to me and wanted to race. Young guys and looked more like dads cars, M4 guy mentioned having Porsches in the family.

I have a 996 Turbo X50.

Im in Europe and they are the same here. BMW and Audi drivers. I've been a BMW M driver for years and people judge but that doesn't apply to me so I'm good.

....and when you decline a race, you're perceived as a Porsche snob. Too good to race them.

Yeah, but my car raced them though, and it shut them up.

Excellent. Every Audi in my town wants to race me. I don't fall for that. I let them be idiots on public roads

I generally beat em off the line and back off letting them fly by me. Now and then a policeman escorts them to the side of the road for a discussion.

In my 09 GTR I had a lot of cars come up beside me and rev it up to "want" to race. It seems like everyone wanted to line up against that car.

In my 997T, I don't get as many, but it doesn't bother me since I don't like stoplight stuff anyway. The funny thing is that it seems like a lot of cars just like taking off fast at a light (whether it be Civics, Jeeps, mini-vans, etc.) just to slow down when I catch up. Don't know.....maybe it's just me.

wow that much of a snore... surprised, looks great though. I want to buy something with popup headlights again someday.

Happened when i drove my car from AZ to NJ. Somewhere out in Texas or Arkansas a guy in a newer SRT8 Challenger wanted to race on the highway. I declined and he easily took off hitting 130mph way ahead. let the hillbilly have his fun without putting me in danger
