What would be the best aftermarket exhaust to put on a 2002 Porsche Boxster 2.7L? I'm looking for more of the race sound. Something a bit more aggressive on start up and generally louder. I love crackle and pop sounds. I would like to minimize drone/non existent if possible! Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!

Borla! I looked at several systems for Cayman and found the Borla to be the best sounding. Cost is less than other brands as well. You won't be sorry....

Take a look at FD Motorsports. They are loved in the 993 community and their 986 muffler modifications are well received on 986forum.com too. Plenty of race sound without any drone.

I have a Cargraphic muffler on my S. Love the sound. Sounds like a real Porsche.

Agree with recommendations for Fister. Almost the cheapest but better sound than the $300 ebay Chinese exhaust that I have.
I got the fister exhaust on my 996 and it sounded great
