Oil Cooler Intermediate Plate

Default Oil Cooler Intermediate Plate

Just got me a 2003 Boxster S with a huge oil leak. It seems to be coming from the oil cooler area. When I pulled it off, it did not have the intermediate plate #35. Is this normal? I can't seem to find any information or pictures about the plate during the repair except in parts diagrams. Any help would be appreciated

The intermediate plate is only for early 1997 cars.

Non issue for your car not to have it

Might just be the O-rings, I have a 996 oil cooler I'll sell if you want to upgrade.
