Default Cylinder head bolt removal

Does anyone have any advice on getting some stubborn head bolts out? I broke a few T50 torx sockets and didn't even nudge the bolt. Any advice would be helpful because I don't want to keep breaking tools.

The correct tool is a Torx Plus pattern. You may still break some though.

You've soaked them in PB Blaster or an alternative? Maybe spray them several times over a day?

for PB Blaster to work, wouldn't i need to be able to get into the threads? or at least underneath the head of the bolt?

I thought the torx plus has that little pin in the center of the bolt head? The head bolts that i have dont have that little pin.

You're thinking of tamper proof torx. Torx plus have thicker splines

That stuff will find its way... which is why I recommend several squirts throughout a 24 hour period. Can't hurt to try... and might mitigate a SNAP!... and you know those are no fun.

Can't hurt.
