Default Replacement Radio

Hi all. I’ve ordered a dash kit for updating my 01 Boxsters radio but a little confused as to getting a single din or double? Does it matter? The kit says works for both but wasn’t sure if it mattered for the vehicle it’s self. Thanks!

A double din is twice the size of a typical in dash stereo head. While a double din unit can be installed, a couple of items in the dash require rearranging and one will have to be sacrificed.
I'd recommend checking youtube for this matter to help.
