Default GT3 seat installation?

tried a search but could not find the link for a Boxster owner who installed GT3 seats in his car. I had it bookmarked before my computer crashed and erased my settings. if anyone knows of the link thanks in advance.

What do you need to know? It is a straight bolt in installation.

I have fitted a GT3 drivers seat,

No significant problems once you know how to get the seat belt light connector out of the main plug..

what info do you need?

Thanks toolpants! is this on your renntech site?
Irish, its for someone else who has heated seats which I didn't have. I did the install with a friend and it only took 30 minutes on each side.
Couldn't be happier.

instead if removing the seat connector. I found that simply removing the whole box that contains all of the connectors. It simply slides onto the bottom of the GT3 seat.

Robert,

I don't understand your point..?

My original seats were electric with seat heaters - there were lots of wires connected to the seat most of which weren't needed for the gt3 seat.

I removed the seatbelt receiver from the original seat with its electricial connection. The seat belt connector can be removed from the main seat connector by sliding off the side of the big blue onnector.

I put the seat belt receiver on the GT3 seat and plugged it into the main connector coming from the car. Seat belt lights work, Driver happy.

About a 30 minute job and much easier in a boxster with the roof open rather than a 996 coupe.

mine also, I just tried to say. U sed to put my stock seat back after DE's. It used to take me 20 mins to pull out and reinstall the seats .I found a short cut that cut the time inhalf inthe install process.
